WAPDA Announces Job Positions in Pakistan
Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA) has announced job vacancies for suitable and eligible candidates. Interested individuals are encouraged to apply for the following positions:
- Director General (Vigilance)
- Number of Posts: 01
- Eligibility Criteria: Retired Brigadier or equivalent rank from Armed Forces with qualification of Intelligence Staff Course (ISC) or Officer Basic Intelligence Course (OBIC).
- Age Limit: Up to 50 years
- Quota: Open Merit
- Director (Vigilance)
- Number of Posts: 01
- Eligibility Criteria: Retired Colonel or equivalent rank from Armed Forces with qualification of Intelligence Staff Course (ISC) or Officer Basic Intelligence Course (OBIC) and 05 years experience of intelligence duties in the field.
- Age Limit: Up to 50 years
- Quota: Open Merit
- Director (Vigilance)
- Number of Posts: 01
- Eligibility Criteria: Retired Major or equivalent rank from Armed Forces with qualification of Intelligence Staff Course (ISC) or Officer Basic Intelligence Course (OBIC) and 05 years experience of intelligence duties in the field.
- Age Limit: Up to 48 years
- Quota: Open Merit
Contractual Appointments:
The appointments will be on a contract basis for 3 years, extendable annually based on satisfactory performance and organizational requirements.
General Instructions:
- Only eligible/shortlisted candidates will be contacted for test/interview.
- No TA/DA will be provided for the interview.
- Age relaxation will not be granted beyond the prescribed limit.
- Original documents must be presented during the interview.
- Candidates with disciplinary actions or dismissal from service are not eligible to apply.
- Incomplete or incorrect applications will be rejected.
- Bogus information/documents will lead to termination of employment.
- Applicants must be medically fit (category ‘A’).
- Project allowance will be provided for postings at Projects.
- WAPDA reserves the right to withhold or cancel the recruitment process without assigning any reason.
